See here for pics of my blown clutch.

Powerplant

I'm going to get dyno tested to see what my torque curve is looking like.  Right now I have no idea how much HP is going to the front wheels.  My conservative estimates states she should be about:

Engine (stock) 140 (very optimistic)
Exhaust 10
Intake 5
Chip 5
Total 160
  • Using Topfiero's HP calculator, my 2940lb (with driver) V6, with the full mod list turns about 133HP.
  • Assuming about a 20% drive train lost...I'm about 160, so I guess that's about right.

133 to the wheels is pretty reasonable, and the best estimate I can make without a Dyno.  Other calculations read as high as 134 and as low as 127.   New clutch has improved my 1/4 mile times, my new E.T. is 16.375.

For detailed engine specs see my spec sheet:

Coming Soon

Coming soon...nothing.

The TDi has caused me to abandon all Beretta efforts.  No more mods will be done.

The new engine is in, and its ok, but as much as my Beretta has served me (faithfully and unfaithfully) for these years, its time to move on.

 Future Mods

If all goes well, the car will go back to my mother, who will take good care of Kurumi in her final years...but considering I just put a new engine in, those final years should last a long time.
